Apovital® PRENAVIT® Eisen

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

Provides 17 mg iron, 150 µg iodine and 600 µg folic acid per day

Apovital® PRENAVIT® Eisen contains the essential nutrients iron, iodine and folic acid, which are important during pregnancy and breast-feeding. The well-balanced formula also contains B-vitamins and vitamin C.

Blood formation

Iron and the vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to normal formation of red blood cells. In addition, iron is an essential part of the red blood pigment haemoglobin and contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body. Vitamin C increases iron absorption and folic acid contributes to normal blood formation.

Cell division & maternal tissue growth

Folic acid has a role in the process of cell division and contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.

Cognitive function

Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function and to normal cognitive and neurological function.

Hormones

Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

Energy & immune system

Vitamins B6, B12 and C contribute to the normal function of the immune system, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
