Apovital® Calcium Citrate contains calcium in the form of calcium citrate. Calcium citrate does not require stomach acid to aid absorption, so the tablets can be taken without food.

Calcium, magnesium, zinc, manganese and vitamin D all contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Additionally vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/ utilisation of calcium and normal blood calcium levels. In addition calcium, vitamin D and magnesium contribute to normal muscle function, and copper and manganese contribute to the maintenance and formation of normal connective tissue.
